1 Corinthians 16:15 KJV  15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

I know the word translated “addicted” is probably better translated “appointed”, but I still like the idea anyway, because I am addicted to Christ.

  1. An addict craves his addiction – and I crave my Lord.
  2. An addict believes he can not live without his addiction – I believe I can not live without my Lord.
  3. An addict believes life without his addiction would be dull, lifeless and meaningless – and I believe life without my Lord would be dull, lifeless and meaningless.

Yep, there is no doubt about it – I am addicted to Jesus!
